The Luck That Shows Up Every Day
Happy St. Patrick’s Day. There is a lot of green out there today, and I’m here for it.
There’s an old Irish saying: a good laugh and a long sleep are the two best cures. I have no argument with that. I’d maybe add a cup of something warm and a reason to go outside, but the core principle holds.
We talk a lot about luck today. The luck of the Irish and all that. But here’s what I’ve come to believe: the luckiest people I know aren’t the ones who avoid difficulty. They’re the ones who kept showing up through it. Luck, in my experience, has a lot to do with consistency wearing a four-leaf clover costume.
So today — wear your green, laugh at something, sleep well tonight. And tomorrow, keep showing up. That’s where the real luck lives.
May your day be full of small good things, and your evening full of rest.
What’s something you’d call luck that might actually just be the result of showing up consistently?
