Letting the Week Be Done
Friday. And a gentle reminder that done is a decision as much as a state.
There’s always more you could do. The list is never truly empty; that’s just the nature of a list. So the question isn’t whether you finished everything — you didn’t, nobody does — the question is whether you’ll let yourself stop. Whether you’ll draw the line, close the laptop, and call the week complete.
That decision matters. Because the alternative is dragging Friday’s unfinished business into Saturday, and Saturday’s into Sunday, until the rest you were supposed to get never quite arrives. The work bleeds into everything because you never officially called it done.
Call it done today. Whatever’s left can wait. Clear your space, take a breath, and let the week close behind you. The weekend is on the other side of that decision.
Done is a decision as much as a state. Draw the line and let the week close.
What do you need to consciously call done so you can actually rest this weekend?
