Give Yourself a Wednesday Check-In

Three questions. That’s all the Wednesday Check-In requires. You can do this in five minutes, on a napkin, in your head while the coffee brews. Three questions.

First: how am I actually doing? Not the answer you’d give a coworker. The real one. What’s my energy? What’s weighing on me that I haven’t named out loud yet?

Second: what do I need? Not what’s on the to-do list. What does the person doing the list actually need right now? Rest? A conversation? Movement? Twenty minutes with no input from anyone?

Third: what can I let go of? Not forever. Just for the rest of this week. What’s on the list that isn’t actually essential, that I’m carrying out of obligation or habit rather than necessity?

Five minutes. Three questions. The rest of the week gets easier when you know the answers.

You can’t navigate well without checking in on where you actually are.

How are you actually doing today?
