The Final Monday of April
Kris Evergreen here. Last Monday of April. Which, if you count from January, means you’ve gotten through seventeen Mondays of 2026. Seventeen starts. Seventeen times you got up and faced the week.
I know I keep counting things. But I genuinely believe the counting matters. Not in a keeping-score way. In the way that makes progress visible, because progress is otherwise almost always invisible while it’s happening.
Seventeen Mondays. That’s seventeen weeks of small decisions and invisible progress and ordinary effort. You’ve been building something whether you felt like you were or not. The foundation is under there. The spring is showing you what grew in the ground you couldn’t see.
One more Monday. Make it a good beginning. Not perfect — just intentional. The week is yours. Go easy out there.
Seventeen Mondays. Seventeen starts. That’s a foundation worth acknowledging.
