The Monday You Choose
Kris Evergreen here. New week. And I want to start it with a question rather than advice: what do you want this week to be about?
Not the to-do list — that’ll fill itself in regardless. I mean the quality. The intention. The thread you want running underneath whatever the week throws at you. Patience, maybe. Or presence. Or finally addressing the thing you’ve been circling. Or simply being a little kinder to yourself than you were last week.
The week is going to happen either way. The difference between a week that happens to you and a week you actually shape is usually just this: whether you decided, at the start, who you wanted to be in it.
Pick one intention. Write it somewhere you’ll see it. Let it be the quiet through-line of your Monday-to-Friday.
The week happens either way. Whether you shape it comes down to deciding who you want to be in it.
What’s your one intention for this week?
