Happy Easter — The Return
Happy Easter to everyone celebrating today. A day built around the idea of return — of something coming back that seemed lost. Of light following darkness. Of the stone rolled away and the garden on the other side.
Whatever your tradition, there’s something worth sitting with in that image. The idea that endings are not always final. That the thing you thought was over sometimes isn’t. That life has a stubborn way of coming back, in new forms, in unexpected seasons, through doors you thought were closed.
Spring itself is a kind of resurrection. The world that looked completely done in January is out here right now budding and blooming and insisting on itself. It does this every year. It never asks permission.
Today, wherever you are, whoever you’re with — let yourself feel the return. Of warmth. Of light. Of whatever it is in you that went quiet over the winter and is now, maybe, ready to come back.
Life has a stubborn way of returning. Let yourself feel it today.
What feels like it’s returning for you this season?
