The Space in the Middle
Day two of the long weekend. Which puts us in that particular Sunday-of-a-three-day-weekend feeling: the one that’s different from a regular Sunday because tomorrow is still yours. Monday hasn’t come to claim you yet.
I want to live in that feeling a little today. The space in the middle. Not the first day of rest, when you’re still shedding the week. Not the last day, when you’re starting to gear up. Just the middle — the pure middle where nothing is pulling at you from either direction quite yet.
Be in the middle of it today. Don’t rush to prepare for tomorrow. Don’t review the week behind you. The space in the middle is its own thing. Let it be what it is.
This is rare. Ordinary Sundays don’t have it. Today does. Use it gently.
The middle of a long weekend is rare. Let it be what it is without rushing through it.
How are you using your extra day of breathing room this weekend?
