The Last Thursday of May

Last Thursday of May. Last Hidden Win Inventory of the month. Pull up a chair.

Thirty-one days. What actually happened in there? I want you to count the whole thing today, not just this week. The month of May had International Workers’ Day and Mother’s Day and Memorial Day and Mental Health Awareness Month and Armed Forces Day and Teacher Appreciation Day and a long weekend that you hopefully actually rested during. It had at least four Mondays, which means at least four restarts, four chances to begin again.

What did you begin? What did you carry through? What was hard and you did it anyway? What were you kind about, when being unkind would have been easier? What small promise to yourself did you keep that nobody else knows about?

May happened to you, and you happened to May. The tally goes both ways. Count your side.

May happened to you and you happened to May. The tally goes both ways — count your side.

What’s the win from May that you’re most proud of, even if it would sound small to anyone else?
