The September Reset

Wednesday. And the first full working week of fall is at its midpoint, which makes today a good moment for something I’d call the September Reset.

Back in January, you probably set some intentions. By March they’d softened; by June, summer had its own agenda. That’s fine — that’s how years go. But September offers a rare thing: a genuine second window. The fresh-start energy is real right now. The routines are re-forming anyway. If there was ever a time to slot one meaningful change into the structure of your days, it’s this exact stretch, while the concrete is still wet.

So: one thing. Not a life overhaul — one thing you wanted for this year that still matters. The habit, the project, the call you keep not making. Fold it into the new routine now, while the routine is still negotiable.

January-you would be glad to know the year isn’t done trying.

September is the year’s second window. Slot one meaningful thing in while the concrete is still wet.

What’s one intention from January that deserves a September revival?
